FAQ

Everything you need to know before posting or applying.

What is Footyjobs?

A job board built just for football. Coaching, scouting, medical, commercial, academy, all of it. Clubs and organisations post a vacancy and you apply straight to them - we're not a recruiter and we don't sit in the middle of your application.

How much does it cost to post a job?

Standard is €49, Premium is €149, both live for 30 days. You can add your own brand colour to the card on either plan for €19 on top. The price updates as you build the listing, so there's no surprise at checkout.

What's the actual difference between Standard and Premium?

Premium is shown above Standard listings on the homepage, gets a badge, and goes into our newsletter with priority placement. Both plans get the same 30 days live, a full listing page and a direct apply button. If visibility matters more than budget, go Premium.

When does my listing actually go live?

Right after payment. There's no queue and nobody reviews it by hand before it appears, so it's worth double-checking the preview before you pay. We do read listings after the fact and will pull anything fake, discriminatory or clearly unrelated to football, but nothing is manually approved up front. That's the trade-off for going live in seconds instead of days.

How long does a listing stay up?

30 days from the day you post it, then it closes automatically. The page itself stays online after that, marked as closed, so any traffic or links it picked up don't just vanish.

Can I edit my listing after it goes live?

Yes. The confirmation email you get after paying has a link that lets you update the listing yourself, any time, no account needed. Hang onto that email, the link is basically the password to your listing. If you lose it, email us and we'll sort out a new one once we've confirmed it's actually your listing.

Is this only for professional clubs?

No. Plenty of grassroots clubs, academies, agencies and sports businesses post here too. If the role is genuinely in football or the wider sports industry, it belongs on the site.

What should I actually put in the listing?

"First Team Analyst, Championship club, hybrid, £30k-£40k" pulls in better applicants than "Analyst wanted." A vague listing mostly attracts vague applications.

Do you handle applications for me?

No, applications go straight to whatever link or email you give us. We get the listing in front of people, what happens after someone hits apply is between you and them.

What payment methods do you take, and can I get a refund?

Cards, through Stripe. We never see or store your card details ourselves. Once a listing has gone live we can't refund it, since the slot was posted and that's the service you paid for. If something's actually wrong on our end, a bug or a duplicate charge, get in touch and we'll fix it.

Do you translate listings into other languages?

Not automatically, no. Post in whatever language the candidates you want will actually read - English tends to reach the widest pool if the role is international.

Who's actually behind Footyjobs?

A small, independent job board, not a recruitment agency. Questions go to a real person at hello@footyjobs.com, not a support queue.
