Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Relationship Manager to join our team managing our portfolio of Hospitality accounts. This is a really varied role with no two days looking the same – one of your key focuses will be developing and building strong relationships with our seasonal members providing a world-class and professional service.

This will include representing and playing an active role in our matchday experiences, non-matchday events and at travel trips – confidently representing the Club acting as a professional ambassador building strong relationships and promoting the Club.

Sales and revenue will also be a key element – you will drive renewals and upsells by tailoring solutions to go above and beyond our clients’ expectations contributing to our revenue targets, key performance indicators and wider strategic growth initiatives.

The Person

This is an opportunity to elevate every matchday by nurturing relationships, driving loyalty and ultimately creating unforgettable experiences. We are looking for someone who can build genuine, long-lasting relationships confidently with demonstrable experience of managing multiple premium client accounts in a similar role.

You will need to be comfortable being pro-active and driven in a fast-paced environment with a proven track record and desire to exceed targets. You will need to be able to deliver excellent customer service with clear, confident and accurate communication skills with the ability to manage challenging situations. Strong organisational and planning skills are a must, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and guest needs simultaneously.

The role will predominantly be based at our Business Operations offices at Bodymoor Heath Training Ground, but there will also be frequent travel and work at Villa Park, particularly around our fixture schedule to support matchday preparation. The role will also require you to work flexibly – including working matchdays and events. There may also be an element of international travel to support our Executive Club.
